over to Pinellas County. Take the exit for SR-688 (Ulmerton Road)

west. Follow SR-688 for about six miles. After the Ulmerton Rd.

U.S. 19 intersection will be Ulmerton Rd. and 66th St. and then
Ulmerton
Rd. and Belcher Road (Shell gas station on the corner). Turn right
onto
Belcher Rd. and travel north a few tenths of a mile. The Belcher
Soccer
Complex is on the right hand side, in between an auto repair shop
and
the Westgate Mobile Home Park. The Complex and parking is set
pretty
far off the road and not easy to see until you get to the turn)

The
smallest regional qualifier we have had so far this year with
five 4man teams in the men’s division and four 4man female teams
participating for a spot to play in the Dominican Republic. It
is quite extraordinary as there are 800 4man teams located in
and around the Tampa area and only six teams from that area
participated in the ticket tournament to the World Cup of Flag
Football event penciled for the 26th – 29th
of February 2004. Nevertheless, the prizes for the qualified
teams will all be given regardless of the size of the tournament
making the competition intense for the remaining spots that will
be decided at Fort Lauderdale. The Fort Lauderdale’s regional
qualifier is already in demand with players enquiring about the
tournament now with a month to go. Last year it was one of the
biggest qualifiers and the team that won the female (A) division
was crowned the women’s 7on7 invitational championship. All the
teams that are coming to the Fort Lauderdale event will be
fighting for the rest of the spots available and should start
registering now. Alliance from New Hampshire has already
registered for the Ft lauderdale,FL tournament, playing 4man and
8Man.
