Directions-
The directions to Skyview.

Powers Blvd. to Zepplin. (if you are driving from the north going south on
Powers you want to turn left onto Zepplin . If you are coming from the south
on Powers and get to Zepplin, you want to turn right onto Zepplin.) One will
be going east on Zepplin go to Resnik and turn right, follow to Skyview
Complex.

From HWY- 25
Take the South Academy Blvd. exit. go south to Drennan Road. Take a right
onto Drennan Road to Powers Blvd. At Powers go left. Follow Powers to
Zepplin take right. (see above).

Topeka lands on the Flag Football Map.

For the 2nd straight year, snow fell and made for blustery cold conditions.
The third annual event was grueling as games started at 9am and didn’t end
until darkness set in.
   You will have to follow the yellow brick road to Kansas to find
FlagMag’s new #1 ranked 8man team. Yes Dorothy, they do play flag football
in Kansas and quite well we might add, as Gold Star from Topeka, KS drove 10
hours and put a licking on all the Colorado teams. In all four games Gold
Star mercy ruled each opponent and only gave up two touchdowns to show their
dominance. The team was big, strong, and no match for the Colorado teams.
Each time the ball was in the possession of Gold Star, it ended in the end
zone as they scored 124 points in four games The Only thing that slowed down
Gold Star was the weather. In the Championship game snow started to fall at
a much faster pace making conditions treacherous. Unfortunately for the
other teams the snow couldn’t stop Gold Star either, they mercy ruled
Colorado Spring’s hometown team, Clockworks 28-0. In the semis Clockworks
defeated the Dream Team 6-0 in the semis in the final seconds of the game to
advance to he title game, where Gold Star mercy ruled 21 Medics 34-6.
     In the men’s 4Man Gold Division final, One Time proved to be no match for
its opponents as they defeated Soul Brother 28-6 for the title. Soul
brothers traveled from LA for the event.
The 4Man Silver division was a close match as it was an all Air force
base final. Petersons AFB 21 Medics defeated Rodents of Schreiber AFB 28-23
for the crown. The championship match was a hard fought battle but QB Scott
Piper for AFB 21 Medics was the difference maker as he was on fire throwing
for four touchdowns.
   In the 16 under Youth Division Denver’s Storm crushed Colorado’s Dream
Team 32-0 for the title.   The Storm was busy all day as they also played in
the Men’s Silver Division where they went 2-1, with their one loss to the
Rodents 26-20, and in robin play they defeated the Silver Champs 21 Medics
24-23.
