Eight new teams took
part and qualified for the 6th annual world cup extravaganza
slated for Miami,Fl Feb 24-27th.
Only two local teams
participated in the tournament, as all the other teams traveled
good distances just so they could qualify.
In the 4man
championship, ICM squeaked by Jax Heat 18-15.This division
included some good parody as ICM lost earlier to Jax heat in pool
play.
In the 7Man, Black Magic went undefeated at 4-0 and defeated the
Fire fighters 20-14 for the crown. Black Magic QB Ben Gannitt
connected on two touch down strikes to Sammy Knight and Dwayne
Bennett. Gannitt also ran one in . Renard Darling had two key
interceptions, including one in the endzone stopping a Firefighter
drive,
