Panama City Beach,FL-Mexico wins both Titles.
The Mexican Men defeated St Croix 13-0 for the Mens 9Man No Contact Title. It was Mexico's first World Cup Title. Mexico's best performance prior to this year was in
2003 Bahamas when they lost to team USA in the Championship game. Mexico recieved the #3 seed and  defeated the Cayman Islands  13-6 in the Semis. St Croix upset Team USA 13-7 in the final minute of the semis. St Croix was the #4 seed and defeated Honduras 20-0 in the first playoff game.
       In the Womens ttitle game Mexico defeated Canada 13-7 for its 6th Title. The only World Cup Title they did not win was in 2004 in the Dominican Republic when they did not attend. Mexico  took the #2 seed after it suffered a loss in round robin action
to Canada. Mexico outsted team USA in the semis 13-7.

World Cup Action began today, temps in the 80's and games played at Frank Brown Park. In the Women's Division the Mexican Women suffered there first International
loss in World Cup history as they lost to Canada 13-6. All three womens teams went
1-1.
In the Men's Division, the defending World Champs, USA went 2-0, defeating Mexico 26 to 6 and Cayman Islands 13-6. St Croix went 0-2 but lost both games in the final 30 seconds. Playoffs start today with St Croix playing honduras and the winner playing
Team USA while Cayman Islands will take on Mexico.

Mark Thomas of Springhill,FL has been appointed this years World Cup Tournament director. Mark has been the head ref for the past three World Cup Tournaments and is
the Referee director for the state of florida

Attention ALL teams!

Last year's World Cup tournament was an unbelievable experience. Some teams continue to remember the experience by having a highlight video of their games made. After the tournament was over, Get Off Me Productions received many calls asking for a video of their games.

This year's event looks to be even better!

This year, Get Off Me Productions and the IFFF decided to do it a little differently. This year, everyone has a chance to have their own highlight video. Instead of hiring Get ff Me Productions ahead of time, we are now giving you the chance to schedule your game to be shot the dat of the game. We will be starting with the Captain's meeting once the times have been chosen and on the field for all 4 games days for you to have a highlinght video shot for your team.

The rates are as follows...

30 minute games - $35
60 minute games - $50

We will have someone to schedule your team as soon as you find out when your game is. We have at least 2 cameras running, so schedule your time early. hey will book up FAST.

due to  hurricane katrina and the destruction of New Orleans, (the home of the college nationals for the past 26 years), The International Flag Football Federation will not require College Teams to qualify for the 7th Annual World Cup Event.  College Teams wishing to register for the event only need to apply.
