IFFF FORMS PARTNERSHIP WITH USFTL!!

The IFFF has named Mike Cihon, Executive Director of the USFTL, as the Head Coach for the 2002 TEAM USA Men’s World Cup team.  Cihon will take on preparing TEAM USA members for World Cup competition, when they convene in Ft. Lauderdale days before the tournament.  TEAM USA will arrive a few days early to practice, and to encourage local attendance to the World Cup Finals. 

To further promote the USFTL, the IFFF has agreed to make the USFTL Nationals in
Orlando, FL, a "points-only" World Cup Qualifier. All teams who register and
compete in the USFTL Nationals will be eligible to compete in the World Cup
Invitational, hosted Feb. 23-24 in Ft. Lauderdale, FL. In addition, two more
TEAM USA members will be selected at USFTL Nationals, as well as additional
coaching staff." USFTL Nationals will be held January 19 & 20 in Orlando,
Florida.
